Hi All,
Could anyone please tell me how to delete the Gnome Directory via the Command-Line terminal. I have messed about with my newly installed Ubuntu 10.04 Netbook Edition and want to find the default desktop. I'm a Newbie of course!

I noticed the size of the files to be downloaded for KDE. Is it necessary to keep the Gnome related files or can I safely delete them for space?

I am preparing to teach a Unix/Linux course and would like to create some lesson specific videos for my students. What software are you using to capture your screen in the tutorial videos? I have been looking for a while and haven't found anything that works very well.
