I've just registered at this site, and is currently reading the guide, which is great.

I notice there are a few (pervasive) spelling errors in the text, like "it's" instead of "its", and I'd be happy to help proofread and correct the text, would that be possible?

I have a few suggestions to make the Ultimate Linux Newbie Guide's forum(s) more user friendly.

1. Display new or changed threads in bold text for each user so (s)he will not needlessly re-visit threads. You may need to use cookies to implement this suggestion.

2. Add an editing function so a user can correct or remove any erroneous information (s)he has posted.

3. Add a 'Report this post' function so a user can report any Spam or abusive post (s)he comes across, thus allowing a forum moderator to review the reported post, and take what ever action is deemed appropriate.

These will do for starters. If any one else has any additional suggestions or comments on my suggestions, please chime in :).
