I would like to know what the equilivent to SKYPE is in Linux.
Can some one please help.

Hi Brad,

 Skype is available for Linux - just go to the skype web page and download the package for your version of Linux on their site.

Some vendors of Linux even include Skype in their distributions.

There are also a number of other skype-like programs out there, some like Gizmo Project/Gizmo 5 are free but not open source and some like Ekiga are free and fully open source.
